ARTE DI CREATIVITÀ

Nata a Torino nel 1970, ha frequentato l’atelier della pittrice rivolese Amelia Argenziano, affinando la tecnica olio su tela e pittura su ceramica. Sempre su ceramica, con le artiste Laura Malandrino e Ivana Casalino ha studiato olio molle e la tecnica del lustro.
Collabora con l’architetto di interni Francesca Trucchi.
Ha conseguito il diploma di “Disegno artistico a mano libera” il 24 marzo 2020 presso la scuola Accademia Domani di Roma con voto finale di 80/100, docente Massimiliano Giara.
Attualmente segue un corso di disegno iperrealistico con l'artista emergente Alessandra Pagliuca.
Numerose le esposizioni patrocinate dal Comune di Rivoli, città dove risiede e lavora.

Mi definisco pittrice contemporanea e figurativa.
La mia arte ha subito negli anni una metamorfosi, un'evoluzione pittorica. Il volto umano, la maggior parte delle volte femminile, come focus del mio attuale percorso artistico, ispirandomi a volti tratti da foto di fotografi professionisti. Ciò che cattura la mia curiosità è il taglio dell'immagine, che dà all'opera finale il significato che voglio trasmettere, una ricerca, uno studio dei problemi della vita quotidiana quali bullismo, pandemie, omofobia, razzismo, realizzati spesso con colori vivaci e punti luce in quanto i temi trattati devono catturare l'attenzione e far riflettere lo spettatore senza creare uno stato di ansia. Cromie che esplodono con intensità ed energia.
Scelgo i materiali utilizzati per le mie opere: i telai sono fabbricati artigianalmente e utilizzo una tela di lino a grana fine preparata personalmente. Spesso vado alla ricerca di cornici che poi tratto e coloro in base ai colori dell'opera, per rendere l'opera stessa un oggetto di valore unico ed inimitabile. Ultimamente utilizzo legni di recupero, opportunamente levigati e trattati, abilmente incollati in modo da ottenere una superficie atta a dipingere, con sagoma non omogenea.
Restauro mobili con la tecnica shabby e tradizionale. I vecchi mobili non si buttano, si trasformano e si riadattano!

Born in Turin (Piemont, Italy) in 1970, she attended the atelier of the Painter Amelia Argenziano, refining the technique of oil on canvas and painting on ceramics. She studied soft oil and the technique of luster on ceramics with the artists Laura Malandrino and Ivana Casalino.
She collaborated with the interior architect Francesca Trucchi.
In March 2020, she obtained the diploma of “Freehand Artistic Drawing” at the Accademia Domani school in Rome with a final grade of 80/100, teacher Massimiliano Giara.
She is currently studying a hyper-realistic drawing course with the emerging artist Alessandra Pagliuca.

Many of her exhibitions have been sponsored by the Municipality of Rivoli, the city where she lives and works.

She calls herself a contemporary and figurative painter. Her art has undergone a metamorphosis over the years; a pictorial evolution. The human face, mainly female, is the focus of her current artistic career, inspired by faces from photos taken by professional photographers. The cut of the image is what captures her curiosity giving meaning to the final works. A research, a study of the problems of everyday life such as bullying, pandemics, homophobia, racism, often made with bright colours and light points. The topics covered must capture the attention and make the viewer reflect without creating a state of anxiety. She has achieved this through the use of colours that explode with intensity and energy. She also works on cardboard with mixed media: watercolour, oil, charcoal and decoupage.

She chooses the materials used for her works: the looms are handcrafted and she use a fine-grained linen canvas which she prepares herself. She often goes in search of frames that complement the colours of her work, making the work itself an object of unique and inimitable value. She has recently been using recycled pieces of wood (often non-uniform in shaped), which she then treats, polishes and skills fully glue to obtain a suitable surface of painting.

She also uses her artistic skills to transform furniture, with traditional Italian techniques from old and worn to shabby chic. Old furniture does not need to be thrown away!
